three in one....

The post title may be a little misleading...between i still had a different title on my mind...."Awesome threesome"...bt thought it may create a dubious image in the mind of many....i hope boys get it right:)
Anyways either way this is not a post on retail offer in stores as in "3 pe 1 free" wala...this post simply describes our journey of three over 1 vehicle called the LUNA..ya u got it right its the same "chal meri LUNA"...wala TVS LUNA..on which we made our 'safar' today during the village field visits and made the LUNA 'suffer'(this homophone courtesy Farhan Qureshi of 3 idiots). Under the combined weight of around 150kg the engine was roaring with pain bt it never failed us...now i know why it is so popular in rural India.....{in picture from rear: Sutanu, Divaker, the field staff and still ahead its his LUNA}'pic courtesy Sutanu's Nokia 6233 inMotion'
Another thing which struck in my mind is about our carbon footprint which we generated in our visit...suppose had we not overcrowded the LUNA we would have taken a Bike right.....that means a straight 100 cc engine..means more fuel expenditure..means more CO2 generation and more carbon....skeptics would say that engine overweight would have definitely caused more fuel burning but i dnt think so....

Similar logic extended to general traffic ...in city traffics you usually see over crowded buses, to autos to two wheelers...had each one of them had a comfortable journey imagine the even greater no. of vehicles plying the road and even the greater no. of exhaust generated...

One thing is clear its due to our traffic habits we saved a lot not only in petrol bills but also earn a virtual Carbon credit given to us not by Uncle Sam but by Mother Nature in terms of a better place to live.....keep pondering of this....and do wait till my next posts....

p.s.- apart from the business aspects i need to learn from my summers project i am getting a lot extra things like these to think over and learn the little nuances from Mother Nature....
